From July 2020 and onward we will only be providing a telephone service to clients and will no longer have an office location.
Due to 90% of our business now able to be conducted either via email or phone we feel this is the best option moving forward.
This is still fine for up to 99% of tax returns and video conferences will also be available for more complex tax returns.
WE WILL BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE MOST TYPES OF TAX RETURNS VIA OUR TELEPHONE SERVICE.
You are able to make a booking in advance before the new financial year commences if your employer has lodged your pay information to the ATO. Appointments can only commence from 1st July 2022, so please arrange an appointment time after this date.
Make sure your employee has lodged your payment information for the year with the ATO or this will not be accessible during your appointment time.
PLEASE CONFIRM WITH YOUR EMPLOYER THAT YOUR PAY INFORMATION HAS BEEN LODGED WITH THE ATO OTHERWISE WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE YOUR TAX RETURN.
** WARNING **
Even though your yearly payment information may be available in early July, it is advised to wait until the status has changed from UNFINALISED to FINALISED. You can check this if you have access to your MyGov account and have the ATO linked.
The employer has until the end of July to submit your details.
So if you are making a booking earlier there may be the risk if using UNFINALISED salary information that an amendment to your tax return may be needed as it has not been confirmed. This could result in you requiring to pay back some of your refund if anticipated.
The ATO do not start processing tax returns until the 3rd week in July so lodging earlier will not reduce the time you will receive your refund.
PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE: If you are making a booking in July and you have Private Health Insurance, please remember that your tax return cannot be lodged until this information is released and may need to be place on hold until available from the health provider. You may be able to check this via your MyGov before your appointment time to confirm.
We will call you at the time you have specified.
Some appointments may take longer than expected so we may call 5-10 minutes after your designated appointment time but will let you know if it will take longer than 15 minutes.
Please call us to book in if you have multiple years to complete as additional time will be required.
Late office appointments are only available during peak tax session (July-October) and are limited throughout the rest of the year.
Book online or call us if you would like an evening telephone appointment (6pm to 7.30pm) after peak season as we will have later limited times throughout the year.
